- a box top (the top of a copy paper box works great) or a box flat (like you would get cans/bottles of soda/pop in)
- marbles
- tempera paints
- poster board or another type of thicker paper
*We marble painted on a cut out of an Easter egg, but you could substitute any cut out to do your marble painting on.
- Trace your shape on poster paper and cut out.
- Tape the cut out onto the bottom of your box top so it doesn't slide around
- Squeeze dots of various colors of tempera paint onto your cut out
4. Add several marbles to the box top
5. Hold the box with 2 hands, and roll the marbles around
so that they go through the paint and leave paint
trails on the cut out
